How to Complete the KnoWay Out Missions in GTA 5 Online

GTA 5 Online’s newest update, Safehouse in the Hills, gave players the mansions they have all been waiting for. But unfortunately, these mansions come at the cost of privacy for the promise of “security.” A new set of Contact Missions called KnoWay Out has you and Avi Schwartzman working to stop the KnoWay company and FIB from constructing their mass surveillance operation with the help of a few old friends. �� How to Start KnoWay Out

Despite the KnoWay Out missions being launched alongside the mansions, you don’t actually need to buy one to start them. They work just like any other Contact Mission where you’ll get a message from an unknown number randomly. If you read it, the message will tell you to find a payphone nearby to take a call. This is where you’ll meet Avi, who’ll call you only from payphones for the rest of the questline. Again, these messages will appear randomly when you log into the game. Need more GTA$ and upgrades? �� Mission 1: Negative Press

When you get the first call from Avi, you’ll quickly learn about why he’s so against the KnoWay company. According to him, he found out that the FIB is working with KnoWay to create a mass surveillance program. This is to track down all criminal activity in the city, but who’s to say where security begins and privacy breach ends? Avi will task you to head to a convenience store marked on your map before continuing the first mission.

The first mission starts things off simple. Avi wants you to start finding ways to trash the KnoWay company’s reputation. KnoWay is known for their autonomous driving taxicabs, but you can actually drive them yourself. You’ll be led to break into a nearby facility full of them, but it’s heavily guarded by patrol officers. Be sure to stealthily take them out before stealing a cab, as their armor is pretty weak to explosives.

After you successfully steal a KnoWay taxicab and escape the facility, you’ll be given three other objectives to cause havoc around the city. You must go run over at least 5 pedestrians, knock over 10 traffic lights, and start speeding over 15mph for 15 seconds. After that, you’ll need to then drive through KnoWay billboards and crash into other KnoWay cabs. Doing all these tasks may take some time, especially when trying to reach the billboards, but at least you’ll have fun doing them!

The last part of the mission is to destroy the KnoWay cab you’re driving. You know, to get rid of the evidence! The way you do so is entirely up to you. You can drive it into the sea, explode a gas station, or do it yourself with some grenades. Either way, you also gotta go back and make sure all other taxis at the facility are destroyed and lose the cops on your tail.

�� Mission 2: Inside Job

In this short mission, you’ll be going undercover as an FIB agent at another KnoWay facility. However, you’ll also be driving the contact who gives you the mission with you. They’ll plant a bunch of explosives on neighboring taxicabs where you help him escape afterwards. You can then head to the FIB hideout where a very important meeting will be held. There, you’ll listen in and learn about the essential data center that the group is needing to protect. Too bad you’re here to infiltrate it!

Before that though, during the meeting, you’ll get a message saying that your cover was blown, and everyone in the room will start attacking you. Escape with your life and head to the data center. There, do your best to clear through the enemies and find some hard drives on the lowest floor. You must then escape and head to a dropoff spot for Avi to get them.

��️ Mission 3: Tunnel Vision

At the start of this mission, Avi will tell you about the FIB planning to add their surveillance to all the train stations in Los Santos. To stop this, you’ll need to head to the designated station and hack into the system itself. The hacking plays like any of the other mini-games throughout GTA Online, so it’s pretty straightforward. However, escaping the train station is a different story. Enemies from other trains will try to shoot you down, so be careful!

��️ Mission 4: Trash Talking

Trash Talking is another straightforward mission, as you’re just sneaking into a KnoWay office to steal some documents as a trash collector. You’ll need to steal a dumpster truck to enter the office building area, which is heavily guarded. The guards will expect you to be there to collect the trash, but the documents are inside some planted bags to sell your disguise. Collect them all before leaving the office without causing any trouble.

�� Mission 5: A Clean Break

Now we finally get to the big payout mission, which’ll require you to steal an important hacking device for Avi. The mission will start with you being arrested and locked in an FIB interrogation room, so you may as well get some intel as you escape. You’ll find a handbook in a room that’ll give you the clues needed to leave, including a pen to break the door’s lock. After that, make sure you don’t trigger any guard’s attention.

Follow the marker on your mini-map to find the hacking device you need and your weapons. Use it to then hack into the FIB’s database. You can then escape through the building’s rooftop to make your way to a helicopter. However, a scripted event will play where the helicopter gets shot by a missile. You’ll need to jump onto a Seashark jet ski near the crash to finish the escape and return the device to Avi. Completing this mission will earn you 525,000 GTA$, but you can replay to complete the extra challenges for more money.
